The whole farm site is roughly 0.5 acres and comprises of planting beds, polytunnels, sheds, toilet, communal seating area, rainwater harvesting and water storage. We try to reuse and recycle as many materials around the farm trying to use good design in everything we do.

When entering the site you will be on the central pathway which runs diagonally through the center of the site, pathways lead off the central pathway leading you to polytunnels, sheds, raised beds, herb garden, planting beds. The whole site is surrounded by trees making it easy to forget that you are in the middle of a housing estate!

We have cleared and transformed over half of the site only using organic techniques to bring the once derelict piece of land back to life, we are still working hard to manage all of the land our main projects at the moment are:

  • Wheelchair accessible raised planting beds.
  • Sheltered kitchen area.
  • Small car park/turning area.
  • Secret Garden.

The farm is wheelchair accessible with pathways being made of wood chippings which weave around the planting beds and other areas of the site.

We have a small chemical toilet as a temporary solution until we are able to raise the funds for a more suitable toilet.
